Capitol Hill is filled with unlimited opportunities to share the love of Jesus with people from all walks of life. From young staffers in their first jobs to seasoned leaders shaping national policy, every interaction is a chance to offer encouragement, prayer, and the hope of Christ. Senate offices generally employ more staff than House offices, with some Senate offices having 20–50 staff members compared to 8–12 in House offices.
The United States Capitol Police (USCP) employs over 2,300 people, including both uniformed officers and civilian personnel who support the department’s operations.
The remaining staff are employed by institutional and support agencies such as the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the Government Accountability Office (GAO), and the Library of Congress.
